Private sector seeks action against attackers

The private sector representatives today met with UCPN-Maoist chairman Puspa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' and sought action against the attackers of hotelier B K Shrestha.
The team led by Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) president Suraj Vaidya informed Dahal of attack on Shrestha Friday morning by the trade union activists near to his party. "Such attacks on entrepreneurs will send negative image of UCPN-Maoist internationally," Vaidya said, seeking Dahal's help in taking action against the attackers.
The UCPN-Maoist near trade union workers had attacked Shrestha Friday morning at Bhanimandal in Lalitpur, while he was on the way to office from his home due to some dispute in the hotel. "The party should not promote impunity and help book the attackers," they said.
Claiming that such attacks are against the party line, Dahal promised to investigate the incident and take action against the attackers.
