Internationally acclaimed weekly magazine Time has rated Garden of Dreams as one of the favourite places to visit in the Soul section of its Travel Special.
"If you find yourself in the frenetic Thamel tourist district of Kathmandu and are overcome with a need for tranquility, leave the Nepali capital’s snarling traffic and persistent hawkers behind you and make for this lush greensward across the street from the former Royal Palace," writes reporter Karen Leigh in the magazine.
Designed in the 1920s as a private garden, its wide lawns, surrounded by bamboo, fountains and exotic trees, are the perfect place to revive after a gruelling climbing (or shopping) adventure, Leigh writes, adding, "Walk its immaculately kept perimeter paths before you find a spot to lie on the grass and read a book, the sounds of the city drifting overhead."
"Coverage of Garden of Dreams in Time has put Nepal once again in the international tourism map," said director and spokesperson at Nepal Tourism Board Aditya Baral. "The image of Nepal as a happening destination has been redeemed."
Built by late field marshal Kaiser Sumsher Rana as his private garden representing six seasons — Garden of Dreams — a neo-classical historical garden was renovated and restored from 2000 to 2007, and opened for the public in 2008.
Since history is attached with it, Garden of Dreams exemplifies the perfect amalgamation of pristine nature, age-old culture and perfect heritage management, therefore, all tourists visiting Kathmandu should not miss out to pay a visit to this serene popular preserved garden, Baral adds.
With Nepal's Garden of Dreams, the Time magazine has featured Mada’in Saleh of Saudi Arabia, Tassia of Kenya, Cricket at Hovingham in England, Westfjords of Iceland, Siwa Oasis of Egypt, Spa on the Rocks at Ayana Resort of Indonesia, Reggie’s Jazz Bar of India, Glacier Highway of New Zealand, and El Otro Lado of Panama in the Travel Special article 'A Little Place I Know: 24 of the World’s Best-Kept Secrets.'

I realize that there is not a ton of variety in this list, since Rogue and i - Net - Hack are
essentially the same and Sorcerer #1 and #2 are more
overtly the same. Each program will have a box with a checkmark, find the
programs you'd like to uninstall and uncheck that box. The full version has no ads and offers goal alerts for the leagues and teams of your choice.
