NAC resumes flights with both the aircraft

The ailing national flag carrier’s both Boeings are flying from today, claimed Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
“With the Boeing 757 ACA that has resumed its daily flight from today – after being grounded for last three days – both the Boeings are in operations,” it said.
The aircraft – Boeing 757 ACA – was grounded for last three days due to failure of its Flight Management Computer equipment, though it has just returned from the regular comprehensive check on August 4,” it said, adding that the maintenance of Flight Management Computer equipment doesnot cone under the regular C Check. “The aircraft had returned immediately after one hour of its take off en route Hong Kong with 160 passengers on board August 13.”
The corporation brought the equipment required for the maintenance of the Flight Management Computer from the US in Thai Airways, according to the corporation.
The NAC that had been forced to cut down the profitable sectors due to lack of aircraft, is expecting to revive after it gets its new aircraft from Airbus in 2015.
