Nepal is
organising the third edition of Nepal International Trade Fair on March 6-10,
in Kathmandu.
The five-day
trade fair organised by the private sector in association with the government
will see more than over a dozen countries' participation, according to the
Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI).
India,
China, Korea, Japan, Bhutan, Israel, Russia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, France
Britain, Germany, Australia and the United States are taking part in the
international trade fair that is expected to boost Nepal's export potential
products like herbal products, handicrafts, carpet, garments and agricultural
products.
The
organisers expect to see more foreign visitors in the fair that will be have
some 400 stalls classified in various sections to facilitate visitors.
Likewise, the FNCCI in
association with Commerce and Supplies Ministry, Trade and Export Promotion
Centre (TEPC) and Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) is also organising the regional
trade fairs in Jhapa, Butwal, Surkhet and Kanchanpur.
