The
anti-graft body has filed case against the officials of department of foreign
employment today.
Commission
for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) filed a case at the Special
Court against director of the Department of Foreign Employment Ramesh Prasad
Mainali and computer operator Pappu Kumar Sah on the charge of fleecing youths leaving
for foreign jobs.
The anti-graft body said that they created unnecessary hassles by manipulating documents even when service seekers produced genuine papers. "The officials created unnecessary hassles for the service seekers with malintention of getting bribes," said the CIAA that has some months ago also had filed a case against Mainali and other 59 Department of Foreign Employment officials on charges of abuse of authority while issuing labour permission to job seekers.

Due tolack
of job at home, the youths are forced to migrate to middle east and Malaysia in
search of greener pasture, but the department officials have been fleecing them
mercilessly due to lack of government's monitoring mechanism.
