The gold
price dropped in the domestic market today by Rs 2,300 to Rs 51,700 per tola (11.664 gram) in last three weeks.
The precious
yellow metal price is fixed in the domestic market on the basis of
international market price, though it also depends on greenback in Nepali
market unlike in the international market, where the relation between the gold
and the US dollar is opposite.
The
international market witnessed three-year low of $1,197 per ounce pulling the
domestic market price too.
The gold price in the
domestic market had touched an all-time high of Rs 63,300.
