The Office of Company
Registrar has started the facility of viewing company profile and e-file
documents online.
In a programme organised
here in the capital, today, the office demonstrated its new online system and
said it will help enhance effectiveness in regulating companies.
All registered companies
will be able to upload many of their activities online, said company registrar
Toyanath Adhikari. "The office will complete the technical and other
processes within a month though the e-service was started on November 9."
Registered companies
will have access to the online system, he said, adding that companies can
upload all updated information in the system.
Companies can upload
information of annual general meetings, balance sheets, change in share
structure, and other necessary documents in the online system after its full
operation, according to the office.
Companies will not have
to go through the lengthy process of bringing each and every single document to
the office once the system is fully incorporated, the office said.
The office has developed
a separate e-Services (Office of Company Registrar Online Services) user manual
to help companies adopt the system. "The manual is expected to assist
companies in working with the user registration module of e-Services,"
said Adhikari, adding that the online company registration module will help
users with online registration of the company and view company details.
The system will also
help the office increase vigilance and update records of every single company,
he said.
