NAC to sell Boeing aircraft after maintenance

Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is planning to sell its Boeing aircraft after it returns – on Tuesday – from malaysia.
The Boeing aircraft that was sent to Malaysia for repair around two months ago will be brought back home on Tuesday after successful maintenance, according to the national flag carrier.
The NAC's Boeing 757 aircraft 'Gandaki' was sent to Kuala Lumpur for repair following a problem in its thermal blanket. A crew left for Malaysia on Sunday to bring the aircraft back. The NAC is preparing to sell the aircraft. The NAC has already sent necessary documents to the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation after fixing its selling price. The NAC had, earlier sold one of its two age-old Boeings and planning to sell the remaining one too. "The valuation of the Boeing aircraft is $76 million," NAC director Rabindra Shrestha informed, adding that the national flag carrier will now operate only Airbus as it has been planning to increase its fleet.
