Kishore Pradhan files nomination for FNCCI senior vice-president, with his panel

Kishore Kumar Pradhan – the incumbent vice president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) – has filed his candidacy for the post of senior vice president of the umbrella organisation of Nepali private sector today.

With Pradhan’s nomination – along with his panel – the long postponed executive committee election of FNCCI has now warmed up. Earlier Chandra Prasad Dhakal – another incumbent vice president – has already filed his nominations along with his panel.

The 54th annual general meeting (AGM) of the FNCCI that has been postponed thrice is now going to be held on November 26-28. The AGM will elect the new executive committee for a term of coming two years.

The election of senior vice president is very crucial as the senior vice president will automatically become president in the next term. The incumbent senior vice president Shekhar Golchha will replace the president Bhawani Rana from the annual general meeting.

Pradhan’s panel includes Anjan Shrestha as a candidate for vice president (commodity), Dinesh Shrestha for vice president (district, municipality) and Saurabh Jyoti for vice president (associate), whereas Dhakal’s panel includes Umesh Lal Shrestha vice president (commodity), Gun Nidhi Tiwari vice president (district, municipality), and Ram Chandra Sanghai vice president (associate).
