Stock market formally switching to online system

The domestic stock market is formally switching to an online system from tomorrow.
Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) is starting the online trading based on a fully automated system from tomorrow on the direction of the regulator of securities market the Securities Board of Nepal (Sebon).
An investor can buy or sell stock through the online system – Nepse Automated Online Trading System (NOTS) – by sitting at home or from office or from anywhere where internet facility is available, once he/she opens a personal account with any of the share broker. An individual's email ID and mobile phone number are compulsory for personal details.
The new technology has been on a trial since beginning of the current fiscal year.
