Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) – the
anti graft watch dog – has arrested four officials of Nepal Electricity
Authority (NEA) for their alleged involvement in irregularities while procuring
transformers.
The CIAA today arrested former
NEA manager Kailash Prasad Atal, former deputy manager Surendra Prasad Paneru,
former storekeeper head Narayan Prasad Chaudhary and former account officer in
connection with an investigation, CIAA spokesperson Shreedhar Sapkota said.
