People seek employment, urge to tame price hike

Most of the people complaining at Hello Sarkar have sought for employment opportunities, cracking the whip on inflation, reduction of load-shedding hours, checking fraud in foreign employment, and action against violence against women.
They have also asked for chemical fertilisers on time, said secretary at the Prime Minister's Office Krishna Hari Baskota.
Briefing a meeting at the Prime Minister's Office here today, he asked government officials to respond to people's complaints at the earliest.
Going by the nature of the complaints, it seems people are fed up of the rising price hike which the government has been unable to control.
Similarly, the government's inability to create employment at home has hit most people as most of the callers have sought employment and checking of fraud in the foreign employment sector as they have been cheated while searching for employment out of the country.
Baskota asked the nodal officers to keep track of the progress of the action taken by the government on complaints.
Hello Sarkar — a complaint office for the general public — has been receiving good response since the last one and a half years when it was established on November 3, 2011, after the incumbent prime minister started it to listen directly to complaints.
However, the mechanism has also been misused by some people making fun of law and order by giving unnecessary trouble to people by complaining against them.
It has received some 17,764 complaints so far, Baskota informed.
